What is eDPI in PUBG?
eDPI (Effective DPI) = Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity. PUBG uses a sensitivity scale of 1–100, so a sensitivity of 40 with 800 DPI gives you 32,000 eDPI — but for comparison purposes we use the standardised eDPI format.
Formula: eDPI = Mouse DPI × (Sensitivity ÷ 100)
Example: 800 DPI × 40 sensitivity = 320 eDPI — the setting used by Pio, one of the top PUBG Global Series professionals.
PUBG Pro Player Settings (2026)
| Pro Player | Team | DPI | Sensitivity | eDPI | cm/360 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pio | Gen.G | 800 | 40 | 320 | 51.9 cm |
| Kaymind | Natus Vincere | 800 | 48 | 384 | 43.2 cm |
| Biasd | Pioneers | 1600 | 31 | 496 | 33.5 cm |
| Mentosk | BIG | 800 | 42 | 336 | 49.4 cm |
| ibiza | Virtus.pro | 800 | 45 | 360 | 46.1 cm |
| Suk | Gen.G | 800 | 38 | 304 | 54.6 cm |
The PUBG PCS pro average eDPI is approximately 350, with most pros using 800 DPI between sensitivity 35–50.
Best eDPI Range for PUBG
| eDPI Range | Level | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 200–300 | Low | Long range sniping, DMR precision, large mousepad |
| 300–450 | Mid (Pro Zone) | All-round competitive play, most PCS pros |
| 450–600 | High | Close range, aggressive entry play |
| 600+ | Very High | Not recommended for competitive PUBG |
PUBG Sensitivity System Explained
PUBG has one of the most complex sensitivity systems of any battle royale. Unlike CS2 or Valorant which use a single sensitivity number, PUBG has separate settings for every scope:
| Setting | What It Controls | Pro Avg |
|---|---|---|
| General Sensitivity | Hipfire and general view movement | 35–50 |
| Vertical Sensitivity Multiplier | Up/down sensitivity ratio | 1.0 |
| ADS (No Scope) | Iron sights sensitivity | 40–55 |
| ADS (Red Dot / Holo) | 1x scope sensitivity | 40–55 |
| ADS (2x Scope) | 2x scope sensitivity | 35–45 |
| ADS (3x Scope) | 3x scope sensitivity | 30–40 |
| ADS (4x Scope) | 4x scope sensitivity | 25–35 |
| ADS (6x Scope) | 6x scope sensitivity | 20–30 |
| ADS (8x Scope) | 8x scope sensitivity | 15–25 |
Tip: Most pros keep their general and close-range scope sensitivity the same, then progressively lower sensitivity as scope magnification increases for better long-range precision.
How to Find Your PUBG Sensitivity
- Launch PUBG → open Settings → Sensitivity
- Note your General Sensitivity value (scale 1–100, most pros use 35–50)
- Check your DPI in your mouse software (Logitech G Hub, Razer Synapse, SteelSeries GG)
- Enter both values in the calculator above
Important PUBG settings:
- Enable Raw Input in PUBG settings for direct 1:1 mouse tracking
- Disable Mouse Acceleration in Windows (Control Panel → Mouse → Pointer Options)
- Set Vertical Sensitivity Multiplier to 1.0 for consistent horizontal and vertical movement
PUBG vs Other Battle Royale eDPI
| Game | Pro Avg eDPI | Pro Avg cm/360 | Key Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| PUBG | 350 | 45–55 cm | Slow pace, long range, precision focused |
| Apex Legends | 1400 | 20–35 cm | Fast movement, close range, tracking heavy |
| Fortnite | 60* | 30–50 cm | Percentage scale — different system |
| Warzone | 1600 | 20–30 cm | Run-and-gun, faster pace than PUBG |
PUBG’s slower pace, large maps and long engagement distances mean pros use lower sensitivity than Apex or Warzone — closer to CS2 in terms of precision requirements.
PUBG Sensitivity Tips for Competitive Play
- Use 800 DPI as your base — standard among top PCS professionals
- Start at 40 general sensitivity (320 eDPI) and adjust based on comfort
- Lower scope sensitivity progressively — 4x should feel noticeably slower than 1x
- Use a large mousepad (45cm+ wide) — PUBG’s low sensitivity requires big arm movements
- Set the same sensitivity for TPP and FPP to maintain consistent muscle memory
- Never change
